Since 2005, David Eagle has been a member of three-time BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winning band The Young’uns and, since starting to perform stand up in 2018, David has been crowned New Comedian Of The Year by Leicester Square Theatre, Bath Comedy Festival and Nottingham Comedy Festival, Best Variety Show Winner at the 2024 Leicester Comedy Festival and IF Comedy award winner at the 2024 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
David is blind, and his comedy often explores how his disability means the most ordinary, commonplace events are turned into surreal and convoluted dramas.
Occasionally he dons his accordion (often as a spiteful repost to hecklers) and performs one of his comedy songs, such as his George Formby parody, described by the Guardian as “a comic tour de force.”
Constantly hilarious, gag on gag, leaving an audience gasping in admiration, and applause that goes on for minutes – Bath Echo
Tal Davies is a comedian, writer and self-proclaimed scumbag who blends toe-curling anecdotes with dry observational humour, delivered with a warm, likeable stage presence and a deadpan Brummie accent.
A BBC New Comedy Award regional finalist, Funny Women finalist, and British Comedian of the Year finalist, Tal was also crowned Breakthrough Act at the Midlands Comedy Awards and supported the likes of Milton Jones, Paul Chowdhry and Josh Pugh on tour.
Tal has a great stage presence, coupled with killer lines and an endearing personality which audiences absolutely love. A brilliant performer who is destined for great things’– Scott Bennett
Belly-aching giggles followed her full set of self-deprecatory humour – Birmingham World
Hailing from Leicestershire, Jay is as adept at MC-ing for wide range of venues and audiences as he is delivering tight, punchy and hilarious 20 minute sets.
If you want a sharp anecdotal, unapologetic, out-for-belly-laughs stand-up then Jason is your man.
When it comes to MCing, Jason is one of the safest pair of hands in the business. Quick responses & sharp wit make him our go to man. – Scallywags Comedy
Well-written sharp gags and stories tied together with a stage persona that warms an audience instantly. – Exchange Comedy
Most performances go ahead rain or shine! But please note the following:-
If it’s raining at the start time, we’ll forge ahead in the hope that the rain will clear up soon. It will have to be raining very hard indeed (with thunder!) for the start to be delayed.
If conditions become genuinely unsafe, for example if the performance space is flooded or there is a lightning storm, we will stop the show.
Light to heavy-ish rain won’t put us off, but if rain is torrential (and the audience can’t hear the performance) we will stop the show until the rain clears sufficiently for us to continue.
If we can’t go ahead due to the weather, we will transfer your tickets to another performance or refund your ticket money. If we get through most of the performance and then have to stop because of heavy rain, we’ll transfer your tickets to a different performance.
