Join us in Southwater Square from Saturday 29 November to Sunday 7 December, 10am to 8pm.

Wander around Made in Telford craft stalls located within the Christmas Yurt and Southwater – open daily from 10am to 8pm featuring festive foodie treats, handmade jewellery, gorgeous gifts and more.
You will also find festive workshops, live music, film screenings, Sunday afternoon Jazz sessions and have-a-go activities and you can drop in for free! *
* Wreath making workshop and Christmas Decoration Workshop are paid for events

What’s On – Christmas Yurt

Saturday 29 November – it’s Telford Day!

Telford Day is a day to come together to celebrate Telford on Saturday 29 November. The new town of Telford was formed on this date in 1968 and there are lots of ways residents can get involved in the first Telford Day celebrations.
10.30am: Film screening – Cinderella with colouring activities. FREE drop-in session.
2pm – 4pm: Creative Workshops Colour your own Telford Day Flag. FREE drop-in session.
5.30pm: Join us to watch the Telford Day Lantern Parade from 5.30pm which will include the Music Bike, Are You Dancing performance, Illuminated Bike Ride plus the new Telford Flag design will be on parade for the first time. All starting from the Visitor Centre in Telford Town Park and leading down around the lake to Southwater Square.
Then watch as the lanterns are floated onto the lake for a spectacular display.
7pm – 9pm: Time to enjoy some Saturday evening live music with saxophonist Rick Cosco. FREE

Sunday 30 November
10am to 12 midday: Armed Forces and Emergency Services Community Coffee Morning with mince pies and games. FREE open to all.
4pm to 7.30pm: Sunday afternoon relaxation with The Brass Factory jazz band FREE.
Christmas Yurt bar open until 8pm

Monday 1 December
10.30am: Telford Memories Coffee Morning with the Acorn Singers. Drop in and share your memories of Telford and what you love most about the Borough.
7pm – 9pm: Festive Wreath-Making Workshop – £25 to include materials (ribbons and materials) and a glass of Prosecco / soft drink on arrival.

Tuesday 2 December
10am – 2.30pm: Drop in and catch a festive film (all U rated) for the little ones to enjoy. Children’s colouring activities also available. FREE drop-in session.
Boardroom Café Activities.
Festive film for the grown ups! Sit back and enjoy one of your favourite festive shows. FREE.
Bar open until 10pm.

12.30pm – 2.30pm Drop in and catch a festive film (all U rated) for the little ones to enjoy. Children’s colouring activities also available. FREE drop-in session
4pm to 5.30pm: Christmas Fun with Boardroom Café

10am – 2.30pm: Drop in and catch a festive film (all U rated) for the little ones to enjoy. Children’s colouring activities also available. FREE drop-in session
4pm to 5.30pm: Christmas Fun with Boardroom Café
7pm to 9pm: Live music with the very popular James Brothers. FREE

Friday 5 December
10am – 2.30pm: Drop in and catch a festive film (all U rated) for the little ones to enjoy. Children’s colouring activities also available. FREE drop-in session
10.30am to 12.30pm: Christmas Decoration Workshop, £5 payable at the event. Make up to two decorations to take home.
7pm to 9pm: Live music with the local duo Tequila Moon. FREE

Saturday 6 December
10.30am to 12.30pm: Cinderella film screening plus creative workshop: Design Your Own Cinderella Slipper. Join us for a magical craft session where you’ll design and decorate your very own Cinderella shoe artwork. Choose a template and add glitter and gems to make your very own artwork. FREE.
2pm to 4pm: Creative Workshop. Christmas Keepsakes: Vintage Fairies & Stars. Create your own beautiful vintage style fairy or star decoration in this fun hands-on Christmas workshop. Add a personal touch by bringing your own family or pet photos to use for the faces. A perfect festive activity for families and friends who love crafting, creativity and a touch of old-fashioned Christmas magic.
6pm to 10pm: Live music. FREE

Sunday 7 December
10am to 12midday: Family Dance Workshop with Telford Academy of Performing Arts. FREE
3pm to 5pm: Sunday afternoon Jazz Café session. FREE
