Live Music at The Amphitheatre Opening Weekend

Welcome to two days of live music and performances, hosted by compare Neil Jackson, and showcasing a mix of local talent and popular acts in a relaxed outdoor setting.

The celebrations begin on Saturday 18 July with performances from

 12:15pm: Shades of Grey

Shades of Grey band are proud to be the first band to play on the fabulous renewed Telford Amphitheatre. The band have been together for 15 years, but having sadly lot a member 3 years ago, decided to call it a day. But after some soul searching, and a change of name, here we are. We have played many festivals all over the country and are supporting Dr Feelgood at the Robin 2.
Expect mainly upbeat covers from the likes of The Jam, Amy Winehouse, Cockney Rebel, Bruce Springsteen, James, Tom Petty , Culture Club and many more…

1:30pm: Caradoc & The Loachra

Caradoc and the Loachra are something completely different… Packing a huge sound for just a 2 piece band, they combine heavy hitting rocking riffing’s with sprinkles of psychedelia. Unique rhythms mold it all together. All the while you can’t help bop you head with chant along choruses and infectious vibrant energy…” They are definitely not to missed as they seem to burst from nowhere with their iconic sound and storm stages across the UK!

 2:45pm: Stomping Jacks

The Stomping Jacks are a rhythm-fueled blues, funk, rock and soul revival from Shrewsbury, UK, bringing raw grooves, old-school swagger and electrifying showmanship to every stage.
Drawing inspiration from the likes of Sonny Boy Williamson, Dr. Feelgood, The Beatles, Al Green, Little Walter, James Brown, The Meters and The Rolling Stones, The Stomping Jacks craft a sound that’s sophisticated, soulful and ahead of their years. It’s blues with bite, funk with grit, soul with purpose and rock with real roots.
Whether you’re into soulful originals, vintage tones or frontmen who command the stage with energy and rhythm, The Stomping Jacks are the band to watch, listen to and sweat with whatever the occasion.

The Endings are an energetic five-piece band based in Shropshire, known for their high-octane fusion of Celtic Rock with a unique original sound, style and music. They are widely regarded as one of the most popular Celtic-rock acts in the Shropshire region, winning Shropshire Music Awards for 2024 and 2025 consecutively. The band describes their music as “energetic, beer-drinking original material.” Their sound is characterised by a blend of traditional folk instruments and rock energy, making an impact from start to finish with their performances.
