Barry Steele: The Roy Orbison Story

If you want a real deal the name on the ticket is Barry Steele

Barry Steele and a fabulous cast of musicians and singers define the music of a generation in this top class production. A very special show specially produced to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the creation of the Traveling Wilburys and to commemorate the sheer brilliance of Roy Orbison who sadly died in 1988 whilst in the midst of a huge resurgence in popularity.

Barry Steele and friends will take you in a journey back in time to an evening in Los Angeles where The Big O was joined on stage by James Burton, Elvis Costello, Bruce Springsteen and many others, through to the ‘In Dreams Hologram Tour’ where Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison shared the same stage before hurtling you right up to a new millennium and into 2017 and ‘The Philharmonic Albums.’

No evening would be complete without recognising The Traveling Wilburys. Their creation in 1988 led to five iconic artistes being known collectively as the original supergroup. The second show of the evening is an incredible fusion of Rock n Roll and ‘Wilburys’ magic. Barry Steele and friends will have you singing along to two great shows in one night!
