Travel to the Festival in style 'Park & Cycle'

Led bike ride to festival site. Advanced booking only, £5.00 per rider

Join teams from Telford Bike Hub and cycle through the beautiful Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site to the Festival at Dale End Park. The route is approx. 4 miles and includes a short stop in Coalport for refreshments and more.

Park for free at Legges Way car park Madeley and you’ll be greeted by Telford Bike Hub’s friendly and experienced ride leaders who will lead a leisurely ride to the Festival site in Dale End Park. The route will go via the historic Coalport, home of the China Museum. The ride will include a refreshment stop at the YHA Coalport and an electric bike demo provided by Peter Bird at Bicycles by Design.

The ride will leave Legges Way car park at 10.30am and will arrive at Dale End Park around 12.45pm.

Book in advance. Bikes and helmets provided if required.



Venue Levy

Where applicable, advertised ticket prices are inclusive of a venue levy, retained by the venue to maintain our programme of arts and entertainment.


YHA Coalport - Stop off and refreshments. Approx 11am

Andy Philipson the YHA Coalport Manager will welcome to the group to the cycle friendly Hostel which boasts superb facilities for cyclists. The Hostel is one of the Top 10 Youth Hostels in England thanks to their combination of premier Trail, Road and Off-Road Cycle Routes, Cycle Storage and Amenities. Refreshments will be on offer and it’s a chance to hear all about the YHA Cycle Facilities, the great cycle routes around the Gorge. Bicycles By Design - Stop off and demo

Bicycles by Design are one of the UK’s leading bicycle maker and specialist retailers with focus on bespoke hand-built bikes, tandems and electric bikes. Peter Bird, the Founder and Managing Director of Bicycles by Design will be on hand to provide expert advice along with this being an opportunity to try out some of the electric bikes Peter has in his collection. The shop has been in the Gorge for over 20 years and continues a history of the Gorge in the evolution and innovation of transport. The ride will leave Coalport around 12pm taking the picturesque cycle route along the river to the Ironbridge before finishing at Dale End Park around 12.45pm. Enjoy the Festival and all it has to offer then return to Legges Way car park using the Park & Ride bus service.
