After what seems like months and months of doom and gloom, rising prices, and bad news here is just the afternoon to cheer you up. When You’re Smiling promises an afternoon of sparkling nostalgia spreading enough happiness and joy to lift the spirts of the nation.

You can join Neil Sands and his fabulous West End cast for a nostalgic afternoon trip down Memory Lane, when they appear at Telford Theatre as part of its 35 date nationwide tour.

Over the past eighteen years, Neil Sands Productions have become renowned for their matinee nostalgia shows, regularly selling-out theatres all around the country, with afternoons filled with music and memories of happy bygone days. 

Described as “Like A Ray of Musical Sunshine” and produced especially to put smiles on our faces, this unforgettable afternoon of nonstop nostalgia is filled with over 60 all-time favourite songs that bring back special memories of happier times. From Doris Day’s Que Sera Sera, Neil Diamonds Sweet Caroline, to Vera Lynn’s We’ll Meet Again.

It’s a sparkling mixture from the glamour of Abba to rolling out the barrel in an old time sing a-long.  You will be rocking through the 1950’s with chart toppers from Elvis, Brenda Lee, Bobby Darin, and Connie Francis. Then come swinging through the 60’s with hits from The Beatles, Dusty, Manfred Mann, Lulu, and even Benny Hill.

Enjoy a regal and patriotic celebration of the Coronation of King Charles III and finish the afternoon on a high with our signature flag waving patriotic finale as we salute the veterans of our Armed forces with the songs that won the war.

Joining Neil for this incredibly special afternoon of music and fun are two amazingly talented young ladies with outstanding voices. Both Babette Smith and Sophie Pinsent have graced many West End stages.  With backing from the very talented Golden Times, this really is an afternoon of nostalgic bliss. All mixed with stunning costumes, and the heart-warming atmosphere that is the signature of Neil’s productions.
